Our disposal charges include taking away your old TV or appliance. Please note a disconnection charge will be applied if the item(s) needs disconnecting and an installation of an equivalent machine has not been purchased.

Prices are per item. Additional charges may apply if item cannot be easily removed or if gas.

W.E.E.E Directive / Recycling Old Appliances
The UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations require that all retailers of electrical goods assist in delivering a UK-wide collection and recycling system to encourage consumers to recycle old or unwanted electronic equipment.
There are several ways this can be done. You may either take the item to your local council recycling site or you can contact them to arrange a home collection of larger items (there may be a small charge for this service). Alternatively you can bring the item in to our store. If you are having an item delivered and live within our local delivery area, we do offer a collection service for old products, please contact us for further information.
Electronic waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams and much of it can be recycled and resources recovered to make new consumer products. All electrical items sold now carry the 'crossed out wheeled bin' symbol.
Unwanted electrical items should not be placed into the normal domestic waste stream. Please contact us if you are unsure what to do with your appliance.
We are a member of the UK Government's WEEE Distributor Take Back Scheme (DTS) for electrical and electronic waste. Our current certificate confirming we are fulfilling our obligations as a member of this scheme can be viewed in our stores and warehouse.
We also comply with the Waste Battery Regulations, and we offer a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries from consumer electronic items. Simply bring your batteries in to store and we will direct you to our collection point.
